It’s sad that I’m saying goodbye to my dream job and heading off on the next adventure.

I started at www.chasingcars.com.au in September 2021 when New South Wales was still in a strict COVID-19 lockdown. I began my full-time career as a journalist from the comfort of Toowoong in Brisbane.

Eventually, I had to move all my stuff south to Sydney where the rest of the CC team worked. It was so hard moving to a new city without my family or friends around, but I somehow made it work.

I now call Sydney home and have done so for the last three years, but Queensland will always be my special place.

Here’s some highlights from my time at Chasing Cars. A huge thanks goes to the whole team for their support and guidance over the last three years. It’s been an amazing ride!

First press car: Subaru Outback

First overseas trip: Mini/BMW trip to Munich, Germany

First long-term car loan: Kia Picanto GT

Best car launch: Hard to say, but probably BYD Shark 6

Favourite newswriting day: Probably the new Toyota Prado launch

Most fun day at the office: Either driving the Audi RS3/Mercedes-AMG A45 S (pictured below), or driving the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
